Clasp |
The POLYCLICK technique is also highly suitable for the medical sector. For this sector we have developed an application in which a POLYCLICK clasp is designed to replace the well-known hook-loop connection.
The operation of the POYCLICK clasp was applied to the orthosis. The video shows that little force is needed to put the clasp under tension and detach it again.
According to a possible embodiment, one of the features is that the POLYCLICK clasp does not stick if it is not under tension.
When the POLYCLICK clasp is tensioned, it remains rigidly attached, and this clasp can handle remarkably high tensile stresses. However, it is easy to attach and detach.
Advantages of the POLYCLICK clasp application:
- Does not stick to fabrics such as bandages.
- Much higher adhesion security than the known hook-loop connection. Even if this has been used more than 100 times, the adhesive strength remains assured
- Washable and therefore very hygienic
- Cheap in production
- User-friendly to use requires little force to close and unload
- It can be manufactured with environmentally friendly materials
